Texas is Texas. Texas always goes it's own way.
Everything you said may not apply elsewhere. Idaho is redder than Texas, and there was a big split here in the primaries. In the end, the establishment here still holds an edge over the teabaggers.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too high if I were you. This was not the year everywhere for the tea party by a long shot.

Can someone define grassroots for me please, because based on this site, some of you believe that there are spontanious groups who organize behind an establishment candidate, and that is just untrue.

You are confusing the grassroots with the weed patch. There is more grass than weeds, according to the primary results.
