Michelle Obama: African-Americans Should Vote for Democrats

"That's my message to voters. This isn't about Barack, it's not about the person on the ballot, it's about you," Obama told "NewsOne Now" host Roland Martin on TV One. "And for most of the people that we're talking to, a Democratic ticket is the clear ticket that we should be voting on, regardless of who said what or did this. That shouldn't even come into the equation."

Great - regardless of what anyone says or what anyone has done, vote the Democrat ticket. That's how we are treated. This is what they want from the black population - a bunch of mind numbed robots.

Thanks Michelle - I have my orders.

Don't you just wish the two of them would shut the hell up and go away? They have shown the people who supported them to be ignorant fools. We tried warning people but obaggers knew better.

A true example of the thinking of the democratic ruling class.

BTW, don't challenge this or you will be a racist and a woman hater.

Just reading from their playbook.

A Democrat--the wife of the Democratic president, no less--is urging people to vote Democratic. How earth shattering. Of course, no where in her remarks did she say what the OP and the headline writer of that article claims she said, but why let facts get in the way of a good rant, right?

What you guys manufacture to be outraged about is always highly amusing. You do Fox News proud.

Indeed. Funny. Blindly follow the blind into the great beyond....9 trillion in increased debt and counting.....right.....

Result:

If you say, "no"

You are a racist
You are active in the "war on women"...the same war that has seen women earning more than men....
You are an old white guy...apparently, those are the only white people in the US anymore...all 230 million of them....
You are out of touch....(this coming from the guy that just blew 9 trillion of your money) and don't know how to use a smart phone....(this coming from a constituency that continues to fail in public school)
You are anti-gay (don't ask me where they draw the conclusion but, it's the knee-jerk reaction
You are anti-education (despite the billions spent and they want nooooooo accountability at the teacher ranks)
You are rich! Which is another way for them to say you are an A-hole....publicly

They say they are the party of inclusion and yet, when you differ....

You are a racist

Have to wonder what they will say tomorrow when they wake up like ducks hit over the head....shoe program...get back to work....party is juuuuuuuuust about over.....

Funny I missed the article where McConnell (or Elaine Chao if you prefer to focus on spouses) or Boehner were urging voters to vote for the Democrat alternative.

The party means much more than the individual, that is a lesson casual voters can't seem to grasp.

It sounds a little blatant coming from the 1st Lady but it's an important message that can be communicated more easily than recommending some new candidate.

For instance, if you care about the environment and its flora and fauna, you would never vote Republican. And, if you care about senior business executives maximizing their profits, you would never vote Democrat.

The pop star or every-man mentality has to go out of politics, identity politics is as important as reality TV, they don't matter.

You entirely miss the point.

They don't say to choose them because they are the better option, or the country will be better off, or because black people will be better off... they say to black people - vote for us for no reason at all, but solely because the audience is black. Makes for a great country, huh...?

Your statement reveals your inability to correctly formulate an analogy.

The analogous statement from a Republican would be for them to urge voters to vote Republican regardless of what the Republican candidate said or did.

That anyone of any party would urge voters to make their decision while ignoring the statements, positions or resume of the candidates is appalling, but unfortunately par for the course in today's society.
