Seems that Walker thinks Christie will not help him.

“[Christie] is coming because he asked if he could come and we weren’t going to say no,” Walker said. “But we’re not looking for surrogates.

Seem to be a recurring theme. The Fat Guy only just endorsed Rob Astorino here in New York.

As the head of the Republican Governor's Association he should be supporting all GOP gubernatorial candidates regardless of their electoral prospects or policy visions. It's sad because I used to have alot of respect for Christie ... until the events over the past year. He has begun to come off as an arrogant bully.

The past two years that I lived in Jersey, I went from having no real opinion of Christie to thinking he handled Sandy well and was looking like he actually cared about Jersey....and then time when on and we all realized he basically used Sandy for campaigning rather than helping the people of Jersey. He has shown himself to be a bully that relies on shady politics that tends to run rampant in Jersey. All I am waiting for now is for someone to find out he seriously broke the law and sends him to jail like a number of other Jersey politicians.

In Astronino's case he is a social conservative running in NY. He doesn't have a chance in hell with or without resources from the NGA. It wouldn't be smart for Christie to waste national party $$ on that race. In Wisconsin however, it is an Incumbent Governor in a dead heat, there is no reason Chistie shouldn't be doing more in that race unless he is thinking about his own 2016 interests first. Walker has no shot at the nomination if he doesn't win re-election.

Actually, the rumor is that Christie really doesn't want Walker to win because Walker could potentially be an opponent of his for the 2016 presidential bid.

Is anyone surprised? Christie spoke at the RNC convention in 2012, and I think he forgot he was supposed to be helping Mitt Romney. Mitt was an after thought. Christie can forget winning the nomination, all of the research romney did on him when he was being vetted, will come to light, and it wont be from Dems.

LOL Astorino is not a social conservative ... he is a moderate. I see that you fell for The Prince's silly ads to distract voters from the fact that New York is a big trouble. We need changes, and The Prince isent going to deliver the changes we need to make NY better again.

Did you see Newsday today? 70% of senior citizens say they will leave New York because of The Prince's failed policies and failed attempts to reign in the cost of living.

Astronino is social conservative. He is anti-ssm and pro-life. Granted he knows he wouldn't be able to get his views past, but he is an absolute social conservative. He is also pro-fracking and a gun nut. The thought that Astronino is a moderate similar to what Pataki was is utterly laughable. Astronino has Misssissippi views running in NY. He did get elected in Democratic leaning Westchester, but ideology plays a much bigger role statewide races than it does for County Exec races. His views on abortion, SSM, Guns, Fracking, etc make him completely unelectable.

Cost of living, has always been an issue. It has little to do with Cuomo, there is nothing that Astronino has offered that will help Seniors in the cost of living.
