It starts at the local level, where Democrats are the ones who are battling for wages, paid leave, working hours, healthcare (at least before Obamacare), housing, equality, etc. Issues that many Hispanics also cared deeply. Often against a nasty local Republican cabal who are going for the opposite.

That's why you can't just get them to vote Republicans just by paying lip service. This starts from ground up and Republican ground game has been to castigate and alienate this demographic.

American born citizens from Mexican roots are not Mexicans but Americans and only Americans can vote. As for the "Dreamers" what have they to do with our citizens regardless of where their ancestoral roots were from?

Irish
Italians
Polish
Chinese

When they came herw centuries ago

The argument about the government cares more about the foreigners immigrants instead of Americans is just boring. Go read some books. What you said has been said over and over and over...and over...

yes because allowing millions of individuals here to take job, wont have any negative ramifications upon society..

Tell me Almeida, if these individuals are going to stimulate our economy, why didnt they stimulate mexico?

Actually there has never been a court or law established to deem this true.

We just "assume" people born here are americans, without any evidence at all that its true.

I didn't "adore" Reagan and neither did most GOPers. This is just nonsense spewed by the left. He made his mistakes just as every other president has.

Don't count your Hispanic votes before they hatch.
Many Hispanics are still very conservative, Catholics and are not open to having a woman as President.

First off, most Italians, Polish, etc. did not come here illegally. So why spin the truth? We have no problem with legal immigration it is illegal immigration that is the problem and rightly so! No one is saying that the government is favoring legal immigrants but they certainly are favoring illegal aliens over our own citizens by allowing them to remain here and compete for jobs and resources against our own when they have no lawful right to be here in the first place.
