I am not a big fan of who is running in 2016. Is anyone in the same boat as me? Too many ultra-conservatives or politicians who lack experience.

We don't even know is running yet... Whereas the Democratic Party is too few and we already know who won that before it even started... That is a bit tragic... I rather have too many people and not know who...

The Republicans haven't nominated an ultraconservative for president for decades.

And they are very unlikely to in 2016.

The Republican party is a Far Right Party

The Democrats are center right to center left

The Conservative parties in other countries are actually more liberal than the Democratic party.

All the Republicans do in order to get votes is talk abput how they stand for

God, Family, and Country

Because of course the democrats dont...

And what is their idea about how to fix the economy?

Deregulation and tax cuts for the rich...

Default The right-wing ideology sinks all GOP candidates

It doesn't matter how many candidates run for the GOP, the ideology stinks. It has done nothing to dispel the notion that 8 horrific Republican Bush years were a fluke. Dubya was their best shot and look what happened. I don't think there is one GOP candidate who spoke up against Bush's policies and actions while he was causing this country to bleed to death and sending our troops to their deaths after lying to do so. Quite telling and quite a shame.

Republicans are in serious trouble, in SHAMBLES. Republican voters better sit this one out.

But they won so many governorships and they control both houses of congress...

Out of ANY candidate for president I think I am going to pick Sanders. Every other one rubs me the wrong way except maybe Jeb but he's another Bush and he isn't committed to running...

Any time someone starts a topic with, "I'm a republican but", you know they are no such thing.

When you hear dems criticize the deep republican bench because all they have is Cankles, an old white socialist bald man, and a Putin wannabe, you know their fears.

And you No True Scottsman'd yourself there I see. You have to take it face value unless they either A have a clear history of trolling or B have a history of being a democrat. Me I am a Rockefeller Republican so I am RINO to many on here and even vote Democrat when it is the best option to hack/slash fiscal conservatives, social conservatives that think they know how I should live my life better than me, or out and out racists like Sheriff Joe.

This is true. Just look at their last four choices -- Dole, Bush, McCain and Romney. There is a trend going here and I think the Republicans will continue the self-imposed trap.

ok, so you claim you are a Republican but don't like those running: well, I can't think of a year and I have been voting for over 60 years when we had a better selection. Who would like to see run? As for too little experience, that could be true. but new faces are good, not bad. I for one do not want to see the same ole. That is one thing that killed us in 2008 and 2012.
