The news media gave Trump free coverage and then they tried to destroy him during the election.

Was it all worth it? Will it ever happen again?

He played them like fools. LOL If the media bias is not obvious at this point you are oblivious. The irony for this election is that bias back fired on them. Just ask Sander supporters what they think about the coverage.

Yes, if another candidate comes along that boosts their ratings/site hits like Trump did. They sell advertising based on number of viewers/readers not number of fans

yes but the new focus is that the Liberal Media wants to control all other media or what they consider to be 'Fake News' ....which is any news the Leftist Pravda West media doesn't control and used for propaganda purposes to indoctrinate everyone to their agenda.

It was ownage like we haven't seen in a really long time, the mainstream media has been reduced to rubble, guys like wolf blitzer and don lemon were riding high on their horses, acting as if they were the stars and they had the power, and Trump turned them into lemonade (pun intended) and put america on alert that these people aren't reporting 'news' they're just bought and paid for hacks who lie, slander and make things up as they go along, their kind of journalism is dead, they have been reduced to an 'infomercial' about the democratic party.

I sincerely hope not. Because the ratings came because of the divisiveness of it. The damage it does to our country this has caused is disturbing.

Even if Trump turns out to be a great president, I think this campaign damaged us.

They gave him the free coverage so they could laugh at him and show the American people what a fool he is. I bet they feel really stupid now.

The campaign would have been fine if places like CNN reported honestly about it. They have frightened many Americans with lies about Trump, painting him the antichrist a lot of people actually believe this stuff, i think a lot of positive will come from this, Trump is owed a huge debt of gratitude, he exposed these people as frauds and now, whether or not you like Trump, you now know to really think about what CNN is telling you vs just blindly trusting them as a company with integrity.
