I agree with your point on Walker, I have never understood his appeal. However, Jindal is a social conservative religious nutjob with very low approval ratings in his state which has experienced a stagnant economy and serious budget issues while he has been in charge. Jindal will never be President and may see his political career come to an end soon.
Jeez, bombing another country on day one of his presidency? I'd rather have a "social conservative religious nutjob" in charge than a hot head who'd go off half-cocked like that.
How many thousands of lives would could have been saved if Japan and Germany had been bombed on Day 1.
Day 1 of what? There still would been a massive war, it would've just been started by the Allies. Japan and Germany wouldn't have backed down by being bombed, they would've fought on(they were ready to continue to fight to the death after 5 years of fighting and losses in 1945).
It also amazes me that some idiots think one could bomb Iran, maybe destroy some of their nuclear facilities and possibly that would be it. No, there's going to be blow-back, and Iran is going to strike back however they can. They're going to strike back in Iraq, with Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon, and in the Persian Gulf with their navy. It's going have some major repercussions and there's going to be loss of American life somehow. The US(and NATO) is too used to bombing other countries and thinking that there won't be people looking for payback afterwards--whereas people in those regions are paying attention. Look at how Russia ended up with Putin after the US bombed Serbia.

Now Walker doubles down and talks even more stupid..
Quote:
In an incredible show of hubris, Walker told John Harmon, guest host of On Point Radio (link is external), as he has in prior interviews, that he would “terminate the deal on day one” and added “but I wouldn’t wait for the first day, I would be on the phone on the day after the election working with our allies around the world because this is not only a long-term threat, they are a short-term threat, certainly to Israel.”
If Walker hadn’t dropped out of college perhaps he would have learned about the Logan Act which prohibits private citizens from meddling in foreign affairs. A violation of the act is a felony.

Being a president-elect does not confer any special status. A president-elect is just a private citizen up until the day of the inauguration. But again, he was absent that day in school.
