I saw a shirt that said 'It Takes a Clinton to Clean Up After a Bush'

Bumper sticker we saw: ' Vote for Monica Lewinski's Boyfriend's Wife'. Amusing.

Re: Clinton's "popularity". It is well to remember that that neither in 1992 nor in 1996 did he win a majority of the votes cast. In 1996 he ran against an honorable but decrepit Bob Dole. He should have won in a landslide. If I remember right he could only manage 49% of the vote. The idea that Clinton was or is popular is a myth perpetrated by a pliant and fawning media. Now consider this. If Bill could only muster a 49% vote in his bid for re-election, with all the advantages of incumbency and his supposed charisma, how well do you think Hillary will do who has none of those advantages? If she is the Dem nominee she will energize the Republicans like no one else could, except perhaps Reagan.

Compare that with the current president's 29% popularity. BTW I didn't vote for either one.

Went on to raise billions, yes billions of dollars for all kinds of causes (Aids in Africa, Tsunami relief in the Far East, Earthquake refugee funding in Pakistan).

Made many mistakes in his tenure but left us with a budgetary surplus. Still popular in this country but even more beloved internationally than any contemporary president. Considered by many political technocrats as a brilliant political strategist. I could go on and on but don't want all you Clinton haters to vomit. All I ask is be honest and admit at least the guy is a survivor.
It's the only valid reason to vote for Hillary over Obama...because she's been in the White House before, and has someone to give her advice that's been there.
