For many of us, it's when the baby moves out of the embryonic stage that makes the baby a human.

Those claiming that life begins at conception have a very tough issue to confront.

With something like 25% of all pregnancies ending in miscarriage, that would make their deity the biggest abortionist in the universe.

Choice #1: "It's God's plan."
Choice #2: "Lord works in mysterious ways"

Since every single one of us will die, does that make the deity a murderer also?

Ah, yes! All that lives, dies.

So, by that logic, since death is inevitable, then how is abortion murder?

It isn't generally. Murder is a legal term and in most cases legally not murder.

BTW - tubal pregnancy is doomed from the start so there is no point in that case. I had one and it blew out my falopian tube and almost killed me.

So sorry. I brought up ectopic pregnancy in my post because I'm not sure many of the "no exceptions" folks are aware that it's doomed, both for the embryo and also the woman, if it's not removed.

Isn't there a difference between taking a life and allowing the life to end naturally?

Thus, it's a bogus argument against abortion.

I think we all can agree that stopping a human life, no matter when or why, is killing. The dilemma is whether or not it can be justified. Some can take doing so lightly, some cannot justify it, ever. Somewhere in between is where most of us dwell.

I am pro-choice, only because I know that this decision needs to be made by my doctor and me, not somebody else. Being pro-choice is NOT the same thing as being pro abortion, even though the hard liners want everyone to think so.
