Yep that's making America great for him.

I'm sure Trump wouldn't mind paying $0.12 an hour. But of course his cult followers will ignore this stuff because he promised them he will build a wall in the border and make Mexico pay for it.

He wants Americans to work for less to better match up with wages in 3rd world countries. What he should be saying and willing to work for is to bring up wages in 3rd world countries.

His new slogan will be "if you can beat the 3rd world, join it" and Trumpets will be "oh he's so smart, he will make America great, he's like building this really cool wall.... "

Maybe he's trying to trap us with this wall so we have no escape? LOL

Get off this minimum wage. It was never designed to send kids to college. If you want more, learn a skill.

There is a point where you will not find labor for the wage you offer.....
Employee flunkies, never understand that. They have never taken the risk and run a business, where you must make a profit to keep the doors open, and make big profits to grow the business.
People are not in business to give them a job and break even, like 90% of employees feel.

Everyone should be self-employed. That would bring the cream to the top.

People could easily send kids to college in the 60s when college was basically tuition free and the minimum wage was far higher than today adjusted for inflation and productivity gains.

Learning a trade like carpentry hardly pays much more than a minimum wage in places with massive immigration and downward pressure on wages like Texas.

You're kidding right?? Perhaps tuition doesn't sound like much back in the 60's but trust me, when you were making $1.00 an hour and trying to pay tuition, books, room and board, it was as high then as it is today. I can agree that the trades are paying less and that is a direct result of illegal immigration. A large construction job for example, will be built using one mans plumbing license and have 50 illegals working on the plumbing. The results you get are only dependent on how much the plumber is willing to oversee. Same would apply to all the trades.

People have become lazy and embraced entitlement.
They want $30 an hour to do nothing because they deserve that because, just because.

So true. People are lazy if you just throw a bone to them they will expect more and more. People need something to work for and strive for. Why stop at $15 an hour why not $20 or $100?

I'd rather see smart hard working people get ahead in life than some lazy slob getting the same benefits and pay fro doing next to nothing. it is the everyone gets a trophy for showing up syndrome.

It is certainly not the American way. It is more like socialism.
