Nah. They haven't done that in many elections.

O'Reilly 3,064

Skipping Friday because of September 11. May have been 9/11 documentaries.

Monday 8:00P (in the millions) This was the day CNN covered Trump live in Dallas and Fox News did not. They stuck with O'Reilly who pre-records his shows.

O'Reilly 2,663
Anderson Cooper 1,109

Do you see what happened? CNN practically doubled their normal viewership in the 8:00P timeslot.

It will be interesting to see if CNN continues to cover Trump's live speeches after the debate.
Media outlets will do what they will do to increase viewership. Well the smart business savvy ones will. As was pointed out in my post you quote.

PMSNBC will continue its slide down the applicator from whence it came.

That'd be the end of Hillary IMHO.

Hillary is afraid to debate. She nothing to run on except her own failed record as Sec of State. Her only hope is to run out the clock and limit exposure until she locks up the nomination. That is why there is only one debate scheduled before voting starts.

Get your popcorn ready for 8pm.

Trump will be more prepared this time.
CNN will avoid FOX mistakes.

Fiorina: Trump Will 'Be Hearing Quite a Lot From Me' - NBC News

Fiorina said to be ready to attack Trump tonight about his business experience in such contrast to hers.
...............................................

Cruz will be low key. Trump is his ticket to the White House. He wants Trumps backers.
Trump and Carson will avoid attacking each other.
Christie will attack as his only hope.

I did not see much strange behavior or hard confrontations. The media is blowing way out of proportion, silliness really.

The only time Donald Trump was childish was when he took a swipe at Rand Paul out of thin air. Other than that, he attacked others on their records, like Carly Fiorina, Scott Walker, Jeb Bush. I did not agree with what some were expressing, but no one was really childish at all.

The moderators, like Jake Tapper of CNN tried to get Trump and Fiorina to go to blows, but neither did. Carly answered well when said that only Americans can decide if they trust Trump with nuclear weapons. Same with the face/persona thing, her answer was good, and Donald did not say anything bad about her either.
I have read some headlines about how Carly really destroyed Donald, but that was not the case. The moderators and the media want to get Trump to say controversial statements but really he was mellow and only attack others on their records, which is way debates should be.

I was so happy when Chris Christie and John Kasich took Jake Tapper to task on about discussing important issues, that was really needed. And Tapper kept vainly trying to have Fiorina attack Trump, but it was to no avail.
Everyone was on their good behavior, and not disagreed. CNN tried to turn this to circus and they failed.
I did not see the fascination with Fiorina at all, her answers to issues like the Iran Deal were similar to the others, nor did she demolish Trump at all. I think she is very unlikely to get the nomination, Donald Trump has a far better chance.

Overall Donald did NOT screw up, nor did he let the moderators get him to say anything stupid.
No one did a crap job, nor did anyone really run away with it either. Everyone did moderately well.

Some needed more time considering it was a really long debate.

Now, come on. You know why they cut away from Trump. He was making not so nice comments about CNN. That's why they cut away.

Please, don't make it sound like CNN is liberal. They have been covering Mr. Trump around the clock. Literally. They have been showing Mr. Trump's rallies in their entirety and even Fox doesn't do that.

Besides, Fox News is an entertainment channel, not news. People associated with Fox have openly admitted that in the past.

Mick

CNN is liberal, where you been for the past 30 years, under a rock?

Fox is a news channel that has shows with opinions................the reason CNN has been covering Trump around the clock is that they need the ratings and Clinton is a bored but don't forget how CNN has been exploiting every liberal cause from Ferguson, Black Lives Matter to Treyvon and gun control and ignoring other news.
