The mistake Sanders is making is that's not how reducing income inequality works in every country that has actually been successful at reducing inequality.
The largest reason for the jump in income inequality in the U.S. has been Q.E. Bernie was against that. Unfortunately so many who are now arguing about income inequality refused to speak up while it was going on.
First, debt doesn't have to be reduced. But if deficit are kept low, debt:GDP will keep getting lower and lower.
Oh bull crap..
GDP doesnt grow due to debt. The only reason federal spending is calculated against the GDP is because the federal spending has to take money out of the private sector in order to spend it..
Deficits were almost non existent under Clinton, the GDP didnt get "lower and lower", no more than the GDP is not falling now while deficits are falling under Obama.
You dont EVER know what the hell you're talking about.. EVER..

The reason for the jump in inequality has been the growth of federal welfare programs which punish individuals who try to exit poverty and encourage them to stay poor, while at the same time, limiting competition and competition for labor, thus reducing the need to pay people more...
I'll never understand the mentality that somehow, if you take money from the rich and give it to the government, everyone else becomes better for it.
We already know it doesn't work that way. Scandinavian and European countries tax REGRESSIVELY, and they have less income inequality and better and more social and safety net program benefits.
Sanders supporters are buying into a scam. ...But that's because instead of researching and learning about what actually works, they're just listening for what they want to hear.

That hasn't helped but to ignore the damage to the country that QE has done is extremely partisan.

They won't, because they can't.
These fools dont understand that..

but look at the stock market.. wooo hooo.. the economy is roaring..
I find it amusing reading posts by conservatives claiming that all QE did was make the stock market rise, in view of evidence as clear as day that every economic indicator has risen. For them, it is hard to accept inconvenient facts.
Moreover, it is funny reading claims of how regressive Scandinavian taxes are, when they have better class mobility and lower income inequality than the U.S.

So what you're now saying the economy has grown because of QE, not because of Obama..

The celebrated social-democratic nations of Scandinavia have some of the highest wealth inequality in Europe
