But his key adviser, Armstrong Williams, has, unbeknownst to the good doctor’s supporters, been praising Louis Farrakhan — even urging Chicago to hire Nation of Islam security guards to fight crime.
Quite the Farrakhan aficionado, Williams had promised to broadcast his radio show live from the hate monger’s 20th anniversary Million Man March last Saturday, recalling to the Washington Times that, “It was a moving experience [in 1995], so I want to be there again.”

Carson seems to have some really strange associations with some questionable intentions. I'm hoping the RNC is doing some vetting, because he could become a liability.

First off, "The Daily Caller" is a rag and I have found them to not be newsworthy.

I found nothing all that offensive and I would trust Ben Carson as far as who he associates with or not. Williams has been extremely successful.

Frankly, this is hilarious when you consider who the Democrats have associated with and the things the actual candidates have done.

Carson remains my 2nd choice for POTUS. Trump the first. Both have intelligence and patriotism which is pretty tough to find among the choices for POTUS

I believe in being fair and this thread just really isn't and most people won't do the research to learn the reality.

I could not vote for someone whose religion dictated that they hold their religious law above our Constitution. All the liberals are always crying over keeping religion out of the government so they should be agreeing although I have found the liberals thoughts to be rather lop-sided. Armstrong Williams is a mainstream conservative writer. But a quick google search of the author of that hit-piece in the Daily Caller, Evan Gahr, shows he has a history of seeing anti-Semites under every bed.

Carson is being built-up to take down Trump. All he needs is to consistently hold the lead for a week or so, and then the media can roll out their pre-packaged "the Trump love affair is over" narrative. Once they're done with Carson, he'll drop like a rock. Without the tacit support of the media, his low-energy and his crazy ideas will get the better of him.
For now though, he's the best challenger to Trump that exists. So of course they'll help him get there.
