How so? Bush wrecked the US economy, had a ****-poor response to Hurricane Katrina, and launched an awful war in Iraq.

Gore would have done better? We can't use hindsight vs. potential as a way to tell which was better and who we should have voted for.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong again. Look to your dems in congress for the proper blame. You people never get anything right.

Blame goes all the way back to the Republicans and Clinton before Bush '43 as well. Hell, even Bush '41 and Reagan too.

Not gonna happen. They don't get along at all. Trump would never choose someone like that as VP, and Kasich would never accept.

Besides, Trump wants to gain support. Kasich has very little. Cruz has a lot and is gaining. If he drops out, Trump benefits, and if Trump is nominated and picks Cruz, that's a way to mobilize Republicans in a way not seen since Ronald Reagan ran in 1980.

I know it is not going to happen, that is why I said "should"

Not really. With Bush '41, Reagan reached the moderates in 1980. That's not like Cruz who don't have mass appeal and pretty much has a similar gasp as Trump does. Trump hit upon the harsh rhetoric crowd. Cruz hit upon the tea party and Christians, that is almost the same type of voters Trump has. Trump HAS to get moderates to his cause, I don't think he can, especially with Cruz.

Also Cruz is NOT gaining. His favorability nationally is still burnt from the debt ceiling fiasco two years ago. Ted Cruz Favorable Rating - Polls - HuffPost Pollster In fact, he had some of the highest unfavorable ratings since announcing his campaign.

Not to mention that every legislator in Washington hates his guts.

The Repubics need Ohio to win, Kasich can deliver Ohio. Palin was an example of a wasted VP choice, hopefully Trump wont make that mistake.
