Evidently, no one has done anything wrong here, but a huge database of voter information, including addresses, birthdates, and registration information, has been put on-line. I would like Congress to pass some laws restricting how people's personal information can be used, and prohibiting this information from simply being posted on-line for anyone's perusal.

In Texas, voter registration is a matter of public record.

IIRC, When one votes in a primary, they sign a book,. It is three copies. One to the party one to the county, the other to the committee person holding the election.

In the general election, the precinct judge gets a copy, the county and the SOS. Things may have change.

Your appraisal district also has your info online.

You can ask them to remove your name.

The credit card companies know more about me than my husband does. Employers use a company that aggregates FB postings. So what? ISIS can still blow up the power plant or water distribution.
