At least here - the older people do not get out to vote as they should. Each year - the school budget vote passes - because the parents are out voting but the older people on fixed incomes that the tax increase will really affect aren't. I work the polls - the majority of voters are young to middle age.
Yep ... me too. Not sure how it is where you live, but here, ALL the high schools are voting spots. Think you can guess 'voter turn out' especially in light of the fact that they are excused from class to vote? Very very little voting over lunch period.
