Don't blame me.
This thread is about the group that didn't want Trumpf's guilt money. Don't like it, post in another thread.

The CEO of the organization that is refusing donations makes a six figure salary. He is turning away funds that could help veterans who are in financial need. I guess because he is doing well, it's ok to let others suffer just to make a point.? The CEO is a frequent contributor to Huffington Post, a notoriously left wing/Trump hating site. He just wants to be neutral? Doesn't sound like it to me.

A veteran's group hardly anyone has heard of. How convenient for them to gain visibility just at this moment? Pffft.

He was a rich man's son telling the draft board he had a boo-boo on his foot and couldn't serve his country. Then he pretty much ignored vets until he was in a position where he realized he could use them to draw attention to himself.

Except for former POW's. He did nothing to help bring them home and ignored them until he had the chance to tell America he considers them losers.

He was busy trying to get NYC to ban homeless and disabled vets from anywhere near Trump Tower.

Not much love for vets before he became a candidate for president. In fact, just the opposite. But that was before he realized what useful pawns they were.

When I was growing up, my dad had been in the VA Hospital for quite some time during/following WWII. He used to tell me about the injured. What has stuck in my mind all this time is that there were veterans in baskets that had no arms or legs. When you top that off today with 22 veterans taking their lives per day not to mention all of the physical injuries and deaths, I guess I don't have to verbalize my thoughts about someone/group that wouldn't gladly accept money on the behalf of veterans in need of help or those that continue to be critical of this event that raised a heck of a lot of money for veterans.

Nearly 3 million members - anyone who served in Iraq or Afghanistan is familiar with the group and highly likely being represented by them to politicians. Thankfully they want nothing to do with the panderer at this moment in time and refuse to be a pawn in his political gamesmanship.

If I recall, the guy (Trumpf) was against the war and didn't provide much support during Iraq o
ther than to say "I told you so!". Then while in Afghanistan, all we hear is that our CinC is illegitimately in office because he was born in Kenya or some odd place. Talk about being divisive.

Save it Trumpf.

Thanks, but no thanks Donald Jane Fonda Trumpf.
