So. Bernie Sanders is running ads featuring an all out socialist. Hey it only killed 250 million people in the 20th century, might as well give er another try.
Yes the Cruz campaign needs to vet all actors to ensure they all support Cruz, that they have only appeared in tv commercials,g rated movies or saturday morning childrens shows .They must never have had an abortion,pre-marital sex or a gay experiance. They should attend a kjv only bible believing protestant church at least 48 Sundays a year and never curse or smoke weed.If they can't pass this simple test they don't deserve to be in a commercial that backs a 'spiritual icon' like Ted Cruz.......jeeez
Between Cruzes silly self righteousness and Trumps petty trumper tantrums and lawsuit threats my eyes are rolling so much i'm afraid they will get stuck in the back of my head!
Sadly the alternatives all impress me less and bore me to death on the Republican side and i'd vote for satan before supporting either of the Democrats.
Rumor is that Cruz was doing a final review of the ad and recognized her.
The different takes on this have been interesting. As the article says, the actress just showed up for an open audition, no fault there, she just wanted to work. I did find it hilarious (and ironic) that Ted Cruz whose extreme religiosity (and all the attendant "morality" that entails) has been a focal point of his campaign ended up with a porn star in his campaign ad.
Guess he had to pull it, SC being the Bible belt and all, but it sure doesn't go with the Bible's teaching of redemption and being forgiven, does it? So in other words, kind of hypocritical of the pious rightwingers.
That was my thought as well. Way to take a principled stand, there.
