The Cruz campaign has become known for dirty underhanded tricks and outright slander. Cruz just fired his Rick Tyler - his communication director for the latest debacle - but is it too little too late? It's hard to believe Tyler was acting on his own while Cruz remained totally unaware of all the tricks and lies.

Can Cruz shake his image as a lying cheat?

Maybe if he stops lying and cheating?

I think you're confused about the topic of this thread, plenty of other threads about her issues.

Rafael's with the big boys now, he gets his own thread about his own malfeasance.

Cruz needs to shake his image of being an obstructionist and a religious conservative more so than being a cheater. The caucus thing wasn't even by the Cruz campaign, rather his supporters trying to turn Carson supporters into Cruz supporters. This is fair game in caucuses, it's only dirty tricks like when teams in NASCAR call cheating, when it is not in your favor.

But being a religious conservative obstructionist is his brand. Too bad a lot of evangelicals are voting for Trump so he can't even win his own base over.

Regardless of who did what, Cruz's lying cheat image has been firmly established in a lot of people's mind. Much like Trump's image of being an outrageous blowhard. Of the two, lying cheat is the harder image to shake. Ask Hillary.

It's over. His campaign is in a freefall. Trump is coming after Lubio next.

I think Trump is the least religious conservative of all the GOP runners. It may be he is placating them to get more votes. Really a man with his wealth and his materialism is unlikely to be personally religious.
I know this address Cruz, my error, and for Cruz, from what i hear it is some ambivalence, as to want I have heard, over his tea party affiliation. I personally do not care about his tea party business.
