I'm sorry, but I'm just not buying that anyone really believes that Trump is a racist.

Listen, Trumps isn't perfect, nobody is, but the man isn't a racist.
Buy it, because people really do believe it.

Since we got that in 2008, and then again in 2012, you should have known that..

That's not sarcasm btw. That's the truth.
He's a racist. Members of his own party think so, along with most minorities, many of whom won't bother to vote in primaries but will turn out in DROVES to vote...not FOR Hillary or Bernie, but AGAINST Trump.

Trump won't win. He has ignited the angry, white mob faction of the Republican party and outed a lot of closeted bigots, but that's pretty much it. His supporters are in for a rude awakening. I feel bad for Republicans with sense, their party has been hijacked, and its going to be hell to recover from.

There's just a couple of problems with that. Nobody really believes Trump is a racist, and minorities have already given him more support (and votes) that any other Republican in decades.

If you guys want to attack Trump, you are really going to have to come up with something much more believable than he's a racist.

Attack him because he doesn't interject religious beliefs into his politics, attack him because his isn't a war monger, or over healthcare reform, immigration reform, or tax cuts for the middle class, and tax raises for the wealthy. Just pick something believable.

That's just not true. I'm not a racist and I support Trump. I originally liked Carson, Carly, Rubio and Trump. Then it was Rubio and Trump, now it's Trump. One of my kids volunteers for Carson. My family and friends are a mixture of many colors, why my own grandfather rounded up KKK guys back in the day. Talk like that is not only cheap, it's insulting.

nah, He's not a racist, the problem is that many folks believe he is the racist. That is his problem.

Bottom line is that you will never know what other politicians really think about minorities, women, muslims, and such.. The most important is policy.

Racial tension is real, but at least at surface level, the country has entered a post-racial era. And so has the rest of the world. The world is also watching. Trump is not running a nazi party. Relax.

The GOP tried that in 2012 with Romney - not voting for him so much as against Obama. Didn't work and if that is the Democrat strategy, it won't work for them either.

Why would you feel bad for Republicans ? They choose their leaders and frankly their choices for years have been abysmal. Trump is popular precisely because they have largely ignored the needs of the majority of the conservative electorate.
