Kasich isn't a Republican or a RINO.

He's a moderate Blue Dog Democrat posing as a conservative (as was John Boehner and many others).

Exactly! Here in Colorado, the construction and landscaping industries can't find people to fill the job openings.Colorado in the throes of worst shortage of skilled landscaping workers since 2009 - The Denver Post

Illegal immigration has drastically slowed: https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...2a4_story.html

We don't need a "beautiful wall". I have a feeling that this is going to be a violent summer as Trump continues to stoke the fires of bigotry and hatred. I hope I'm wrong, but we're heading in a scary direction with these people.

Even if you're right, I can promise you that the far left and the DNC will cast him as a racist extremist, just like they do to anyone who disagrees with them.

Comprehensive generally means amnesty for probably most of the illegals.

Rubio sponsored one with Schummer, and now he doesn't want to take responsibility.

Regardless of campaign promises, almost all promises require an Act of Congress and funding to proceed.

No one has a clue what it will cost to build the wall, including but not limited to the acquisition of land by eminent domain and subsequent appeals. The whole " and Mexico will pay for it" seems dependent upon fees instead of arm wrestling Mexico.

Many candidates talk about growing government as it relates to border patrols and ICE by tens of thousands of full time government employees or well positioned contractors.

SCOTUS will be required to rule on birth right citizenship.

Only 4 states have mandated e- verify. Why is this? Large employers tend to voluntarily do so. It's all about small business. Chamber of Commerce lobby has opposed e- Verify all along.

Illegal aliens have a right to trial and appeal. It would take decades, thousands of new judges, jails and courthouses to hear 12 million cases. Congress has to fund it.

The people seem to favor simple promises by candidates to complex problems. The people seem to think a POTUS has a magic wand.

" Bombing the heck out of " or "making the sands glow" is not an actional plan.

I do not care for any of the candidates, either party, and have no horse in this race.

Kasich is a hard-core social conservative.

He signed into law a gag order preventing Ohio rape counselors from discussing an abortion option with rape victims.

See post 587 and subsequent posts here:

Would you vote for Governor Kasich as president?

His unfavorables with women, especially young women, will go through the roof once this policy becomes well known.

Thanks for immediately proving what I said in post #33.

Trump isn't rounding up and deporting 11 million illegals LOL!! People with no clue how anything works, typical Trump supporters. First off, you dont just round them up, drive the bus across the border, drop them off and say buh bye. They need to be in front of a judge who orders them back first! You know how many judges are currently assigned to do this? 22. Illegals are held in detention centers until they can see a judge and do you know how long it takes on average before they see a judge? 550 days! You could hire thousands of judges to expedite things but it would still take an eternity and where do you hold 11 million people? The man power and money needed to do all this would range into the hundreds of billions. Then even if you could do it, analysts say our economy would take a huge hit by getting rid of every illegal because so many businesses depend on them for cheap labor. Something Trump knows all about. Trump fans are being sold dreams, its NEVER going to happen.
