We all know that Trump has the violence market cornered but last night, to the audience laughter, he jokes about killing Trump. I am waiting for the networks to pounce.
Cruz to Kimmel: "If I was in my car getting ready to reverse and I saw Donald in the back-up camera, I'm not sure which pedal I would push."
There is a big difference though, their battle is now personal.
Here's the thing, any opponent who criticizes Trump solely on policies and experience, Trump tends to then make a personal attack, for example criticizing Carly's looks, comparing Carson to child molester, Rubio sweating and that he is little, etc.
As much as I hate Cruz, Cruz doesn't spew hate on a personal level to opponents. Trump does and has been doing exactly that since he started running. Attacking people's looks, personalities, etc. Cruz will certainly go after people's experience, viewpoints, policies, etc., but he doesn't go after their looks or personal attributes.
So IMO Cruz is just giving back what Trump has been dishing out for months now. So I don't think the media needs to call out Cruz on this. Trump has been like 10x worse throughout the entire campaign season.

I think it shows how stupid Cruz really is. I think most of us know that this would be inappropriate to joke about and hopefully teach our children that. Hopefully he didn't give any of his wacked out followers any ideas.
If I said this about the OP right now and OP ends up as a hit-and-run victim this afternoon, I can pretty much expect an officer at my door with a LOT of questions and the officer would be justified to be there.
