We didn't know that Melania (oh, so hot!) and Mrs. Cruz (oh, so ugly in comparison) were running for prez, either, but they were still tweeted about, and then talked about, and retweeted ad nauseum.
Would Ivanka be living in the White House as the First Lady?

Exactly. That is what makes him the BEST qualified candidate to address what everyone here is acknowledging is a problem.
Sadly, we were in NC when the companies were leaving the US and putting the garment workers, US citizens out of work.
US manufacturers can't compete with the cheap, foreign junk that comes into the country. Although you think you are saving money, you aren't as the stuff is junk!
Anyone not making an effort to shop USA made, is part of the problem. All you have to do is "google" US made products and you'll get listings. Too expensive? That's because you have crap jobs and companies that have to produce a small amount of product because most business is going to China, have to charge more.
Trump has the plan but just needs enough people to have the intelligence to be able to see it!
Everyone should push for improvements in our educational system. Without the proper "tools"..........

I didn't know Ivanka was running for president. This thread really doesn't belong in the Elections Forum.
Just as long as people insist on bringing up Bill Clinton's (who's also not running for POTUS) activities of 10+ years ago, the activities of other candidates' families are fair game.
Trump is a business just like any business who will go to the lowest bidder to make their products.
Typical for businesses to do that, he is no different. The same scarf made in the USA would probably be double the price.
Wrong. It just shows he's a sleazy, pathetic businessman who doesn't give two craps about American jobs. If he did, he would have done like Harley-Davidson, Gibson Guitars and hundreds of other successful brands who refuse to outsource products and proudly build in America and hire Americans. Trump is a pathetic, hypocritical fraud.
