Here is an article from yahoo news.
It is common practice for intelligence organizations like the FBI to brief the candidates on top secret info so they can hit the ground running the day they enter office.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/white-hou...214434331.html

The FBI says they can trust Hillary despite her being investigated whereas Trump they will have to see.

So we have a a woman that had her own server which had classified info on it and they trust her enough to give her more info. She might have learned her lesson when it comes to servers so where else can she stash top secret papers? Will she stick them to her fridge?
Trump on the other hand is a unproven politician and despite his loud mouth telling it like it is personality does anyone actually think that he would divulge top secret info that might cost America lives or position ?
Trump is a negotiator by nature and he knows to keep info private.

Do they really think he would get on the phone with his buddy Putin and say "you ain't gonna believe this bro, this is HUUUGE!"

Obama promised us the most transparent administration ever and we got a mess of scandals and problems instead.
If Trump gets in maybe he will release all sorts of intel. I can see it now he will hold a press conference and in reality show fashion he will give us a cliff hanger.
"I'm holding in my hand the report from area 51 and... the results are....

Do you think it is right that the FBI would be willing to brief Hillary but not Trump?

Your conclusion is inconsistent with your link.

These briefings used to be conducted by the CIA. In 2005, the Bush Admin created the Office of Director of National Intellegence ( ODNI) and delegated briefing authority to this office.

Many on the Hill have publicly expressed concern with briefing Trump, including key committee chairs.

Trump has an obvious fetish for conspiracy theories and has not demonstrated the ability to control his impulses.

( I don't care for either candidate and have no horse in this race)

From the article...
On Thursday, at White House press secretary Josh Earnest’s daily briefing, a reporter asked whether the administration has confidence in Clinton’s handling of classified information.

“Yes, we do,” he said. “Secretary Clinton has obviously served this administration with distinction, and she’s got a lot of experience in understanding the need to protect classified information.”

What about Trump?

“We’ll have to see what decision the director of national intelligence makes. I guess I can’t offer my own assessment,” Earnest replied.

This is basically a nothing story. I see nothing stating that they do not trust Trump.

And with the ongoing Clinton investigation(s)... this guys credibility is questionable with his slippery answer. She understands the need to protect info... understanding does not necessary imply compliance - it just means she understands it.

Maybe they know something about her that you don't.

Like maybe she knows how to keep her mouth shut about national secrets and take the ensuing heat without flipping out.

Maybe they know more about things that have happened than you do, and have little or no reason to mistrust her. While Trump is, as his supporters proudly proclaim, a wild card.

no reason to mistrust her? That's hilarious.

Trump isn't the GOP candidate. Not yet. Not before July 21.

If/when Repubs get all 3 branches, they need to fire everyone in the IRS, FBI, & state dept. for starters....our government should not be used to empower one political party as is now the case.

I think I mostly agree with this. Hillary is already part of the whole political establishment and won't shake things up. Trump is an outsider.

Hillary has a demonstrated lack of concern for classified material. With Trump its a toss-up whether he can be trusted with classified material. With Hillary, we know for sure she can't be trusted.
