Bernie Sanders just spent an eye watering $203,000,000 of his donor's on failed attempt to influence Democrat platform. End result? Nothing. They aren't listening.

Hillary Clinton, now standard bearer of the Democrat platform, can't name a single policy change due to Bernie's influence. She does give him some lip service.

Hillary Clinton Can’t Name One Position Bernie Sanders Got Her to Change On

Changing Hillary isn't what he was trying to accomplish. Whether he accomplished anything is yet to be seen. More importantly is whether his supporters accomplish anything. Bernie is but one person.

Anyone can see that she had to drift to the left much more than she wanted to. She now has to pivot to the middle, not the other way around.

Does it matter how much Bernie's campaign spent? Are you saying he could have done a better job of being efficient with money, or that America is not ready for a socialist?

Mick

It probably matters greatly to the 100s of 1000s that sent in money to him. They got nothing for it. Sanders is apparently bending over to the DNC and the issues that concern them are being ignored by Hillary.

(I think I said this would happen some time ago.)

I say, "Thank God that Bernie stepped up and just showed the country how weak of a candidate Hillary really is". He humiliated Clinton and you can't put a price tag on that!

I don't think Bernie scammed them on purpose. They just got fleeced by the system.

“Occupy DNC” protesters have locked down two campground sites where they will set up tent cities to use as home base for their anti-Hillary protests. One of the group’s organizers has said she expects “several thousand” protesters to stay at the campsites

At least it means the Democrats will have some people show up at their convention. But unless Bernie honors his promise to push for a contested convention, I'm thinking it won't happen. His supporters will have moved on to Trump or a 3rd party.

Bernie looks like a beaten man today.

I know you read the Bernie sites.....these people are going. Many really aren't all that interested in what goes on inside. Many now realize the only alternative to Trump/Hillary is civil disobedience.
