The point is not that this is true; as political analyst David Gergen said on CNN, the speech was slanderous. But the lies in the speech, many taken from Peter Schweizer’s book Clinton Cash, were not obviously self-refuting. At one point, Trump said, citing Schweizer, “Hillary Clinton’s State Department approved the transfer of 20 percent of America’s uranium holdings to Russia, while nine investors in the deal funneled $145 million to the Clinton Foundation.” This has been debunked many times over, including by FactCheck.org.
Only effective to those who prefer to remain ignorant of facts.

I find this entire "pivot" thing extremely amusing.

Monday's headline with Joe/Mika was "This is Not a Pivot." Cracked me up.
I read some of the fact checkers and saw a lot of bs on their part. A lot of unwillingness to even look into the allegations made about the Clinton Cash portions.

I hate to post something from Breitbart, but since it contains links to articles from The New York Times and The New Yorker on that issue, perhaps you will read them.

CNN

If you prefer to just read what the New York Times had to say about the UraniumOne deal:

And, of course, all the people who'd supplied Trumps mismanaged flim-flam - contractors mostly - the small businesses that the GOP claim to adore so much. They're the ones who get caught in the gears when big conmen run big cons. They're the ones who wait for years for the legal system to grind and perhaps force comanies like Trump's to give up a percentage of the debt.

There's a reason established bankers didn't want to touch Trump and he had to run on 14% junk bonds.
