It would certainly be an interesting pick.

Two Democrats on the GOP ticket certainly completes the hostile takeover of the GOP.

But why would Joe agree, hasn't he already been on a losing ticket?

Why would the GOP agree?

Currently an independent but not sure about that.

He ran 3rd party once and won :

During his re-election bid in 2006, he lost the Democratic Party primary election but won re-election in the general election as a third party candidate under the "Connecticut for Lieberman" party label.

Well, listening to Lewandowsky the other day on CNN (ok, everybody slammed me mentioning CNN so, I get it) but he assured Erin Burnett that the it was down to four candidates that not only "want to be there" but are household names.

I'm kind of thinking that Lieberman hasn't enthusiastically expressed his desire to be on the ticket and how much of a household name is he anymore?

And with Trump hiring Culvahouse to do the vetting, it's probably safe to say that Palin is one of the four as he's the one who also did the vetting for McCain. He considered Palin "high risk-high reward."

Politics is often unfair, but there exists a stigma for being on a losing ticket, so I expect that Lieberman won't be chosen.

If Trump chooses any Democrat as his running mate, I think that person would be Jim Webb (who has publicly praised Trump and also has criticized the Democrats for ignoring the concerns of poor white people).

If Trump has the goal of losing more conservative support, go ahead... Not that I personally think he would be that bad of a choice, but politics is politics. If Trump wants to unify enough factions to be able to win, he should consider a more conservative Republican. That's just my 2 cents. I honestly don't know who would be a good VP for Trump. And it's not that conservatives would vote for Hillary, but they could very well stay home and Trump loses their vote that way.

Is he, Joe Lieberman in congress? The best VP would be Ted Cruz.
