I wish someone would corner Donald and force him to define "globalism." That would make for great TV.

When he defines "Hispanic" in terms of a "Trump Tower Taco Bowl," one can only imagine what Donald's delusional definition of globalism is. And no back tracking by written campaign statements to rectify the Trump wreck, either.

The same people who only a year ago were bashing the free-trade deals that crushed US unions and our middle class are now doing a 180' and supporting them because "their side" is supposed to now. I'm actually hearing what I've always considered to be very reasonable friends suggesting in reference to Brexit that the people aren't smart enough to make that decision and shouldn't have a say in it! People who consider themselves "Liberals", actually saying the best thing is to let a small group of non-elected elites, backed by the banks and corporations decide the future for the Brits. It's really sad.
Yet another example demonstrating that "liberals" in America are right-wing authoritarians (just like the "right" in this country) whether they realize it or not...

Funny how they always hate evil corporations, yet somehow never go after the government that created them and gave them "rights", or of the Omnipotent Financier God Families that own them, the "corporations", and the puppet "government" that makes them slaves.

Real liberals always support maximizing individual human freedom and reject the aggression and power of "governments", "elites", and "special interest"...

Anything else like tariffs, ban, wall, are just idiotic ideas from an idiotic party.

Exactly, those who think that Globalization can be stopped or really reversed are trying to cover the sun with their hands. The global economy exists and its intertwined with everything we make, forcing US based companies to opt out of the global economy is only going to bring about inflation, you can really look at 80's latin america and see what happens, rampant inflation and all kinds of black markets to avoid tarriffs will pop up. This are not new ideas they have been tried and failed before, granted they worked for a short window of time under different circumstances before technology made global commerce cheap and built competition in all markets. I agree we need to have secure borders but illegal immigration is not a byproduct of globalism, its a byproduct of inequality you deport everyone you might raise the wage floor for part of the service industry but you will also increase the motivation to immigrate illegally.

I think people really need to stop depending on corporations to provide jobs. They either have to create their own job or the states need to be proactive in creating jobs. Maybe corporations should pay more in taxes so the states can create jobs?

Trump is pulling ahead in all polls. And the Obama Administration is starting to help cover up Hillary's crimes. They are becoming desperate.

For 50 years we were told one-world-government was a conspiracy theory, now that it's obviously here and people are rejecting it, we're told it's too entrenched to get out of. Nice trick.

When you live in a dog eat dog economy it pays to develop a taste for dog meat. The Donald does not care what the system he is exploiting is called so long as he can make money. We call it a Presidential Campaign and he sees it as a money maker for him and his family. At least he is consistently greedy with an addiction for dog meat.

I am all for "Free Trade". Let us start with eliminating all tariffs and other trade restrictions world wide. anything less is not Free but biased. China has a 20% import tariff so we should have at least a similar tariff on their, and anyone else's, imports to this country.

I would prefer a countervailing tariff that negates the price advantage created by slave wages, lax environmental standards and government subsidy and currency manipulation. Then the goods would compete on their actual usefulness and not just on falsely low prices. One result would be vastly increased manufacturing in the US resulting in a much improved economy. The vast reduction in unemployment and welfare would support the higher prices.
