I keep seeing article after article of how the Republicans want to defeat Donald Trump and keep him from becoming the presidential nominee, but since they do not have any other candidate to replace him with I wonder if they would simply prefer to lose the election to Hillary Clinton and let a Democrat win this time around rather then see Donald Trump become president.

They want to lose every presidential election it seems. They can't find a candidate that could win to save their lives. Don't let them fool you though, the ONLY reason they don't like Trump is because they want Globalism and bribery to remain a mainstay in politics. Ask yourself this, how does a congressman or senator work a job making less than 200k/yr. leave office after 20 years a multimillionaire? Once you HONESTLY answer that you will have your answer.

I vote person over party, which is why I won't vote for him.

Sure, I think Hillary would be worse than Trump, but I still won't vote for the lesser of two evils.

Either you have integrity and recognize that neither is worth your vote or you don't.

It appears to me that more Republicans are refusing to vote for Trump than Democrats refusing to vote for Hillary. Draw whatever conclusion you like.

This is why Trump would be more accountable than Hillary as president even thought they are both corrupt liars.

Hillary is still out there lying by saying she never received/sent classified information and is in fact insisting she hasn't lied in the email scandal. Democrats are virtually all nodding in agreement.

Trump has alienated millions of republicans and some key names that the first big foul up he has they would flock to the democrats demanding accountability.

Now there are other issues, but on the issue of accountability - Trump wins.

I'm not in love with Trump but I would cut my fingers off one by one before I'd vote for Hillary Clinton. I cannot stand the sight of her and listening to her babbling makes me ill. it is just amazing to me that people give her a pass for everything she's done.

I realize that she's Teflon, and nothing seems to stick, but a person doesn't get accused of so many things without some validity to it.

The worst thing the RW's can come up with about Ms. Clinton is she "may" have mishandled classified materials, so of which were unclassified when she handled them, while The Donald robbed investors by bankrupting several times and his customers by creating a fraudulent "college". Add the countless contractors he failed to pay and Ms. Clinton is a mere piker when it comes to financial sneeze.

Check where his Campaign has been spending its money. Most has gone to Trump, his family or his companies.

There could be video of Hillary stabbing a toddler to death in front of a crowd of a thousand and the Hillary subjects would be saying, "OK, so she's not good with a knife and accidents happen, but she isn't as bad as Trump."

The FBI told us what we needed to know.

I never put anything past the Republicans. They have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory so often, I wonder why they continue to even be a political party anymore.

My guess is that the Democratic Party has become so thoroughly corrupted by America-hating socialists and crooks, that people vote Republican just to keep the dems out of office.
