Like any 12-step program will tell you, the first step on the road to recovery is to admit you have a problem. Good on you for admitting it. Best of luck in the future.
Trump isn't admitting he has a problem. He's just hiding a bottle from public view.
Trump will never hire someone who will make him muzzle himself, so I'm not sure why he things a change would help him.
I find it highly unlikely Manafort wanted to resign. He was most likely asked to do so, because Truml had to blame someone else for his foot jumping into his mouth.

Honestly, I don't think the stories will hurt Trump much. Trumpers don't care about any Ukraine connections.
The Trumpers are locked down. It's just that there's not enough of them. And undecideds may just not be huge fans of Putin's bag man running a US presidential campaign.
What I don't get is why this story is not bigger. Here we have an example of the canidates policy towards Russia directly related to his staff working for pro Russian interests. Yet, Trump supporters are in fear of what they fear may have or may happen with the Clinton Foundation. One is real and proven example of foreign interests potentially affecting US policy vs imagined what might happen with Clinton.
