PBS Gets Caught Cutting Criticism Of Hillary, TPP, and Obamacare From Jill Stein Interview

PBS Newshour removed criticism of Hillary Clinton, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and Obamacare from Judy Woodruff’s interview of Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein. The edits were discovered by a supporter of Stein, Matt Orfalea, when he compared the Facebook Live version with the broadcast and Youtube versions. Orfalea added the cut portion of the questions and posted it to YouTube.

What was cut?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvqdl_CGCGk

“Hillary Clinton and now her transition director Ken Salazar, they’re big proponents of Trans-Pacific Partnership which is basically NAFTA on steroids and most observers believe that it will send our jobs overseas as well as undermine American sovereignty by bringing in these international tribunals that get to pass judgement on our laws, on our public health protections, on our worker protections. So we can’t count on saving our jobs — saving our lives. 1 in 3 Americans now can’t afford healthcare under Obamacare. Or saving the planet because Hillary has been a big proponent of fracking as is Ken Salazar, her transition director.”

PBS also edited out Stein saying, “Americans have not only the right to vote but a right to know who we can vote for.”

The way the above YouTube video was edited, I assume shortens the response by by taking out the breaks. Anyone who has Facebook can verify the contents at the PBS News Hour Facebook page.

The edited PBS NewHour YouTube page is here.

Of course it was also just a coincidence with dr drew also:

Welcome to the new world order people. Take politics out of it and try to see the bigger picture here. If one can do this, I think most rational/objective people should see this as all a bit scary on many levels.

Welcome to 1984 people.

No surprise. Just add PBS to the Clinton Crime Syndicate Family. Every other mainstream media source is involved in it...which is part of the reason she freaked out with Breitbart leader being Trumps head manager now.

All taxpayer subsidies to PBS and NPR must be terminated permanently. Let those two organs of the state slow-talk themselves without public money.

Yeah, they edit all things for tv because of time issues. You never get the full interviews.

But the edit was made to the footage that PBS released to YouTube.

This is disappointing. PBS was, in my oponion, one of the better news sources. (Let's face it, how many other news sources interviewed Jill Stein?) If time was a factor, they should have left out the entire question and response, not deleted the main pooint of the response.

Has PBS 'splained the need for cutting the comments, or just ignoring?

By cutting anti-establishment rhetoric from the news stream, it leaves the listening/viewing/reading public with an incomplete understanding of this or any issue.

Thus creating impressions of public opinion different from what actually is the case. Thought control, anyone?

Just like the staffers who populate discussion forums. It is all about misleading, duping, lying to the American public.
