Some American parents do horrible things to their kids too. Just like any other person that harms children they are subject to the laws of this country.

And yet millions of people with different cultures and beliefs do just fine here. The fact that there are a few of a group that are bad does not mean that all are bad. My great grand father came here from Italy should he have been denied entrance because some Italians were mobsters?

My grandparents were Italian as well. Their culture and treatment of women and children are compatible with Western civilization. Last I heard, the old paisanos didn't consider their women chattel. In fact, Italian men treat their wives and daughters incredibly well.

The point is that there are also bad Italians, should we have prevented all Italians from immigrating because some of them were bad?
