The paper did not look at his federal return. It obtained one page of his New York State resident income tax return as well as the first page of New Jersey and Connecticut nonresident returns.
CNN has not independently verified the documents' authenticity.
the NYT times could get in a lot of trouble for violating the privacy act.

The man's a total con who's feathered his nest...

Turns out Trump has just been doing an impression of a smart businessman, but it's all an illusion.

Even his campaign is all an illusion, giving speeches in front of flags in his Make America Great Again hat, but lacking even a basic understanding of the issues or any grasp of the nation's founding documents, let alone any actual plans or any real possibility of grabbing back those manufacturing jobs, building that wall, eliminating ISIS...

He's raked in the low information folks but is stymied at how to get people who can put two and two together on the bandwagon.

Turns out Trump is the Bernie Madoff of the Republican party.

This would be damn funny if it wasn't so damn sad.

Exactly, ...If Dems and liberals are able to get away with the lie that high income means your rich (that's basic stuff too), knowing the supporters don't know the basics can you imagine how they'll twist it? I wouldn't release them either. Why bother anyway.

oh wow, I'm getting really tired and missed that one. Your right, federal taxes don't pay for highways, bridges, police etc. That's just Obama and Elizabeth Warren rhetoric but they bought it. I couldn't imagine how much in local real estate taxes in many municipalities he had to pay.

Based upon your posting history, I'm pretty sure you didn't in 1995 have enough losses to offset your next 18 years. But if I'm wrong and you did crash the equivalent of 3 casinos and an airline, please share...

No. The truth is he's a con man.

He's the Bernie Madoff of the Republican party, all show and no substance.

Those who are posting like ferrets on fire defending Trump as the "smart businessman" who is going to bring back their good jobs, lower their taxes, build that wall... are going to feel like chumps.
