A local man in Aurora Indiana entered a float in a Farmer's Fair parade which showed an execution scene showing Hillary Clinton in an electric chair, flanked by the Grim Reaper and a pastor. The executioner? Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

At the front was a miniature Easter Island head spray-painted black and labeled "Obama."

We haven't seen this sort of overtly racist display since the 50's. Apparently the guy that did this thought it was "funny". I am curious what people here on C-D think about this.

Well I can see how some think that Obama is a Block Head....

I don't see this float as being racist, stupid and in poor taste yes but then again most of this election has been poor.

We did see a head stone on display at a museum of art that had Trumps name, birth date but no death date. That was also in poor taste.

Later today I will be going by a display that a guy setup in front of his business with a life sized Hillary in an orange jump suit behind bars with a sign that reads "Hillary for Prison".

We have to laugh or else we would cry.

Ridiculous. Putting an advanced android like Hillary Clinton 7.0 into an electric chair would only recharge her batteries and make her even more powerful.

In poor taste perhaps, but far from racist.

You want to see real racism? Go to a Black Lives Matter protest.

Went to one. 80% of the people at it were white.

No surprise this is happening in Indiana. Media picks on North Carolina over the bathroom law, but Indiana is one of the most racist, bigoted places in the country and has been for a long time.
