One thing that would make presidential elections way more interesting is if the candidates were required to take polygraph tests. If Trump really is innocent of the things that he is being accused of then he should challenge Hillary, at the final debate, to make a polygraph deal. Trump would have to take a polygraph about his accusations, and Hillary would have to take a polygraph about her accusations. If either candidate fails the polygraph then they have to step down and let their running mate take over the nomination. If they both fail then the general election becomes Pence verses Kaine. Can you imagine the ratings if both candidates had to take a polygraph, on live television, and the results determined the fate of the election? Especially in this election. It would be the most watched event in television history. If Trump wants to win this election he has to do something bold at the final debate. I think offering Hillary a polygraph challenge would completely shake up the election. The voters should start pushing for this to happen! What questions would you like to see the candidates asked on a polygraph?

Polygraphs aren't accurate enough to be used with such high stakes. I've beaten one before, and I know others who have. It isn't a particularly difficult thing to do, and I imagine that the candidates could easily be trained to beat it themselves.

Sure could. Which is why lie detector tests are not admissible in court.

Also, psychopaths need no training whatever to beat a lie detector test.

Why would Clinton need to take a polygraph test? In regards to the emails that's fact, she said she was sorry. Trump could take a polygraph test but it has nothing to do with the major issues that he or Clinton are talking about or proposing to pass. Why didn't his accusers go to the police about this? I wish we had more smarter voters, it seems like the media and the majority of Voters are focused on scandals.

It seems like the candidates are focused on scandals too. I wish we had smarter candidates.

The person accused of rape that Clinton defended as a public defender got off mainly because he passed a polygraph test.

Exactly. It also seems like the debate moderators are also focused on the scandals. Why can't the candidates talk about actual issues? I am sick of hearing about Hillary Clinton's emails, and I am sick of hearing about Trump's various controversies. Anyone who is going to consider those things has probably already "priced them in" long ago. Let's move on to discussions about the things the candidates actually want to do when in office.

Psychopaths don't have the same physiological responses that that most folks do to stress.

Not sure whether they are just wired differently from the get go or whether they just don't feel guilty, hence no GSR response, no changes in finger temperature, no changes in heart rate,...

But often they do show some physiological response to stress, you just have to watch for their tell.

I watch Trump's sniffling.

He did take - and pass - a polygraph test. But that's not the main reason the prosecutor agreed to the plea bargain.

The police/prosecutor's office lost a key piece of evidence, so they didn't have what they needed to prove the rape charge.

AP FACT CHECK: Trump says Clinton laughed at rape case

Yup. For instance, I heard no sniffing at all in his exchanges with Billy Bush or in any of his rally speeches.
