No we aren't.

The election is over and the results are in the books.

Trump takes office on Jan 20th. Then he'll ride the tiger.

You know, the ancient proverb:

"When riding a tiger, the problem becomes, how do you get off?"

The "narrowest of margins" makes the difference between a president and NOT a president. Doesn't matter if it is 1 county or 100. The results are still the same. This reminds me of the old joke from medical school; What do you call the guy who graduated last in his medical school class? .....Doctor

And we can say Trump has a mandate or Trump doesn't have a mandate all we want. It doesn't mean anything. The whole idea of a "mandate" is ridiculous. It's just something we say to make ourselves feel better about our win or our loss. Whether or not he has a mandate is solely decided by congress. Our opinion doesn't make it so, or not so, and neither does the electoral vote. If he can get stuff passed, he has a mandate. If he can't, he doesn't.

The vote was stay the course or change direction.

The latter won.

Hillary Clinton has now received more votes than any other president accept Obama.

And we have to put up with this idiotic joker Trump as president.

I've lived in States that utilize illegal alien labor, and those guys work their tails off under conditions you and I would not accept. Contrary to Trump, not all of them are murderers, rapists, etc. Some are just family people, looking for a better life.

But I digress.
It has nothing to do with jobs, Americans on both sides of the aisle abhore criminals, We despise those who thumb there nose at our law. If there was a popular vote, Americans would overwhelmingly agree to round them up and ship them out.
It is only a small minority of liberals that support the illegals.

Just untrue. Small percentage of Americans favor complete deportation. See Gallup. Large majority favor allowing some to stay.

We can always scrap the Constitution and go with a direct democracy, that way the majority could vote as to not allow California to vote in any election.
