The presidential debates are live, short of the dems being told what the upcoming questions will be there isn't much alteration that can be done. Anyone that can do a bit of thinking for themselves could have figured that out.

Don`t know but I`m sure there will be suggestions the next election.

Martha Raddatz? Why not just get someone from the DNC help moderate the debates

That was basically what they did, but it just wasn't as well known until AFTERWARDS.

Dont' be so foolish. There is a reason Trump is avoiding the Fourth Estate: No Questions. Do you realize it has been since July that we have spoken to, and asked questions directly, of our incoming President?

As long as he suppresses the media, just like the great dictators from Europe, the peasants (you and I ) will have no idea what he is really up to. And that is exactly what he wants. No accountability to the American people. Not all of us believe his horse manure, you know.

Have you noticed all the 'secret" little meetings that have popped up in the days since Trump excluded the press? The directive for foreign dignitaries to use Trump Hotels. Who ordered that? Three guesses. The meeting with the South Asians? When did that happen? The meeting with the Japanese, where Trump Corporate Interests were present, but only through the Japanese Press did the Americans even know there was a meeting? Or how about the meeting with the folks from Mumbai where Trump is trying to promote his buildings? What did Trump promise them from our Government that we don't know about?

Oh.....you really like it that the President is off on his own little operation with a bunch of right wing generals by his side, and no press present to record his charades?

Trust me, when you discover that it is YOU they are after with their operation because your neighbor ratted you out, you'll be dying for some documentation...and some press people to keep the situation honest.

Just think about the number of police shootings recently which the police swore were appropriate...until the video (much of it from private individuals) was presented. Like it or not, THAT is what the press does for us on the Governmental level. With a tyrant in the White House rewriting the rules, the fourth estate becomes even more important.
His supporters really don't care.
They claim to be all about accountability and openness, but it is pretty clear that they want the exact opposite.
Not a peep about Pence trying to suppress his emails.
Not a peep about Trump refusing to use secure communications (isn't THAT ironic) to talk to world leaders.

I expect that every single thing that they complained about Obama and Clinton will suddenly become moot now that their guy has been elected.
It's the same exact hypocrisy that had them cheering the Patriot Act when Bush II forced it through but had them whining about FEMA camps and Jade Helm because Obama.

There's no reasoning with them. They believe that their neighbors are the enemy and now they are rubbing their hands together plotting their revenge.
That they have so little concern for how Trump may be selling out the country for personal profit is no surprise to me.

Never said that the Radical Right and the Trump supporters are not sane. I think most of them know exactly what they are doing - they are attempting to dismember the democratic institutions of the USA in a methodical and purposeful manner. They've been far more successful at this than I would have predicted, Donald Trump was the wild card that made it happen.

Wasn't Obama condemned for not meeting with certain media sources without a pre agreement?

Yes he was.

Get Ready or leave would be my advice.

Obama did the same thing.

Trump hasn't done squat yet. He may, he may not. Trump isn't the person many paint him to be. He's going to **** off both sides.

All the same, all you are doing is emboldening his support.

That you don't see the stark contrast in many things you sem to be implying are "equal" says enough for me.

That a supporter of HRC could actually end their rant with the sentence "That they have so little concern for how [WOW] may be selling out the country for personal profit" is HILLARYOUS

This is a direct result of the technologies of the Information Age blowing up in our face. We are now firmly in the era of post-truth. Anything that can be Tweeted by our dictator must be accepted as truth; there will be no "fact checking" or "free press" needed to question the veracity. If He says it - it must be true, right? There is a reason why every dictator has used populism as their primary method, it's similar to the mindset of a cult - facts don't matter, so "reasoning" with them is not relevant. No one really knows where this is going to head over the next decade but one thing is for sure, you cannot put the technology genie back in the bottle. Donald Trump will use that tool in any way he sees fit - this is a man with no values of any sort that will stop at nothing to cement his power or to exact vengeance on the "enemies of the people".
