I requested them through my state's senator and I really want to get them. My husband also requested them. Are there other ways to request them? Does anyone have advice on increasing my odds of getting the tickets?

Been there, done that WITHOUT a ticket.

No need to go to another one.

Yes. Volunteer for the winning candidate, be a donor and/or make yourself known in political circles. If you were active in Trump's campaign....remind them. If you campaigned for your senator...remind him.

I received an invitation to Carter's inauguration. I kept the fancy, engraved invitation but gave the tickets to someone who was a big Jimmy Carter fan and didn't mind freezing his butt off in D.C. in January.

MaryKate...my wife and I will be going.....our tickets are already secured.....it is possible that we may be able to come up with another 2-4.....after they are issued in Dec if you still haven't acquired any let me know.

If your district congressperson is a dem you can request from them as well, they will still get an allotment of tickets and probably not many requests.

I think there should be a nationwide OUTauguration party on Jan 19. I'd buy tickets for that.

No, but only becuase I won't be anywhere near DC come inauguration day. My home state is NY and my home congressman is a hard core leftist in a hard core leftist district. While I'm stationed elsewhere, if I was home, it should be very easy to obtain tickets via that route as not many else in the district would be requesting
