Bwahahaha.

You ARE right. It IS great news. Trump even recorded a robocall for there, and Cruz, and Roberts offered to help too.

The Republican won by 7 points.
Know what that seat was won by last time? 23 points.

So yeah, this is kinda awesome. The 2018 elections are looking up.

Most folks following this said that anything other then a double digit win would show that the Republicans are in trouble.

Well Estes is kind of Dem light. He will probably be replaced in the general election.

Excellent! It increases the odds that Dems will win it.

Seriously, there is a lot going on in Kansas, it IS unique in some ways. The Republicans have made themselves very unpopular at a local level. If Estes was a Dem light, then I am actually surprised he didn't do better as that would be a more popular combination for Kansas at the moment. IE the voters who always vote R, but are really hating the Republican actions at a local level.

In Kansas, the current house of representatives is 85-40 republican, That doesn't say hating at the local level.

What that says to me is that the KS voters were hoping for someone more conservative.

A Republican winning in Kansas by only 7 points should be something of a concern for GOP.

Thank you for your concern. If it were 7pts in Wyoming then there would be concern.

Trump winning Michigan and Ohio is a democrat concern.

LOL !!! I knew it!!! Reps keep the seat, Estes wins 13 of 14 counties, but the vote PROVES that DEMS will win everything next time! Yeah, RIGHT. Next time. Keep telling yourself that if it blows your hair back.

"We lose a little with each election but we make it up in volume."

This is a district Trump won by almost 30, this isn't some marginal or leaning district.....
