Well, everyone was crying about election fraud, so now we have a commission on that which is a great idea!

Trump Establishes Voter Fraud Commission - NBC News

I was thrilled to see Kris Kobach be a part of that team. Kobach has it together!

We know who is voting in our state: Got Voter ID? • S.A.F.E. Act • Kansas Secretary of State Kris W. Kobach

And when someone is voting that shouldn't, we have something for them here to: Non-citizen who illegally voted in Kansas three times pleads guilty to voter fraud | Election Law Center

Hopefully, this commission will restore voting to those that are legally allowed to vote. To work you need ID and to draw public assistance, you need ID, to pick up mail at the post office, to cash a check, to get a driver's license, when stopped for a traffic offense, to get a PO box at the post office, if the cash register spits out "show photo ID" with your credit card........................

It should be fairly easy to get a good feel in California and 11 other states plus DC if there is voter fraud. All the investigators would have to do is get a list of actual voters in the 2016 election and a list of all licensed drivers in those 12 states and DC as these states issues driver's licenses designed for illegal aliens. Then, do a cross check.

As required by the federal REAL ID Act of 2005, driver's licenses clearly identify the holder as being unlawfully in the United States.

If an illegal alien is caught for voting in the Presidential national election it is grounds for deportation. Not a minor breach of our laws. Illegal voting is a 2nd-degree felony, punishable by two to 20 years in prison.

I'm sure the Left is going to be outraged over this claiming that it is unfair to people who don't have ID's much like how they are outraged whenever anyone suggests putting a photo of the person who is entitled to benefits on their EBT welfare card.

Trump simply wants to enforce existing laws such as voting and immigration.
WHY is there so much push back by the Left over this?

Yes, plenty of rosters out there with illegal aliens noted. I am surprised they fell for this, making it official that they were illegal aliens. They have their "advocates" to thank for having them signed up for easy apprehension. This shows why it is important to think about what you are advocating and/or signing up for.

Isn't it amazing that trump thinks there were about 3-5 million people who voted illegally? Amazing that that is the number of votes he lost the popular vote by.

More ego stroking - nothing else.

I guess we will find out in the future! Of course, as an American citizen, you must agree that ALL of our laws should be upheld. One is either part of the problem or part of the solution. Kobach is all about solutions in upholding the law!

So glad about this--I was concerned it would get forgotten with everything else going on. Hopefully it will tell us what is happening and provide solutions--with Congressional back-up to make sure that the states clean up their acts where necessary. Pres. Trump is making good on his promises, as quickly as circumstances and obstructionists allow.

Since voting laws are a function of state rather than fed law, this is likely to be a mostly symbolic grsture to please the cult, give proponents of massive vote fraud conspiracies a big soapbox as well as salving Supreme Leader's incredibly fragile ego.

There are significant EO's, but I don't see this as one of them.

Voting in a federal election has requirements: Right to Vote Resources: What are the requirements to vote in federal elections? - LawInfo I take it you know that the Presidential is a federal election and not a state/local election.

Yes, There Is A Right To Vote In The Constitution | Constitutional Accountability Center Note "citizen".

Federal election = federal laws

Isn't it the liberal cult that was crying over voter fraud when the morally, mentally and physically Hillary Clinton was kicked to the curb?

But running elections is a state function. It will remain a state function. There has never been a case of verified widespread voter fraud (let alone of the level of fraud that Herr Hair claimed). That's not going to change. This is a PR stunt, but if it rings your chime, enjoy it.
