We all know that she is a public figure but by not having the test and Edwards so openly stating he want to take the test...makes me think he knew she wouldn't take it.....so he can come out and say "look I wanted to do the right thing to proof it"!!!

Why was Edwards in July holding the baby in the middle of the night if he hasn't been in an affair with her since 2006...and hiding in a bathroom...it just doesn't add up.....if it walkes like a duck........

Is he waiting until his wife dies and comes out that this women is the love of his life.....discusting guy....affair are between a man and his wife and the other women but when you are a public figure who wanted to become the next president or VP...than things are different and where did the money come from that is paid to this women and that Edwards campaign paid her for her work as a not experienced film maker, or what ever it was called. She got over $ 100.000 and how many people get this amount?
Meanwhile he and his wife went to all these programs...Ophrah, Today show, GMA, etc...to get publicity for the cancer of his wife and at the same time promoting him self.....that all makes this issue completely different.
This guy is a low person who wants others to listen to him and his family values.....

I too think this is a set up...He WANTS to prove it and she says NO! Why??? Because then the big $$$$ monthly payments stop, and lets face it...she gotta live on something! Besides the $4Million dollar house that she is living in was all provided by Edwards "friends"...so she has HUGE incentive to help make "who's you baby's daddy" look good. Otherwise, she looses out on $15 K per month (reported) and the high livin' lifestyle that has been "provided" for her.

He is SCREWED...in more ways than one.
