I just spend over 45 minutes standing in line on the first day of early voting in Houston, Texas. This was not in the Beto O'Rourke part of town, either.

Harris County smashes early voting record

The media is trying to spin this as being for Beto, but I can assure you that is not the case where I live.

I understand they do not have early voting in many Northeastern states for some reason, by the way. Why is that, I wonder?

I did early voting for the first time and taken my MIL to vote for the first time. It wasn't for Democrats. I will be heading to Florida and help someone to early vote for the Republicans as well.

Don't know, but I consider really voting a bad idea. We should make voting harder, not easier.

Plus which, it's only a matter of time until there's some big race where some major breaking news turns the tables a few days before the election, and people are enraged that they can't change their votes.

The media might take pictures of you in Florida and say you are coming out to vote for Gillum and Nelson.

I voted for who I wanted to. There is absolutely nothing that could make me want to vote for Democrats this time, including a gun to the head while I was doing it.

The facts are, none of us will know who won this one until after the 6th. It might not be Beto country where you live, but you do not live everywhere in Texas.

We can talk after the 6th and see how it really went.

Historically Republicans have suffered losses when early voting is higher. I think that pattern will remain, but not by as much as people think. Both sides are insanely motivated due to Russian meddling to turn us against one another.

No matter who Russia interferes for this time, we need to make them pay for it.

Lol...there is no Russian meddling, just straight up facts democrats hate Americans and America and Trump loves America and Americans and I am voting for people who will work with Trump. The SAME thing was said in 2016 that early voting was killing the GOP...even saw one today that said Clinton would have the election wrapped up before election day because of early voting...THAT went well as we can see.

Most of Texas is not Beto country. That is a cold, hard fact.
