Exactly, rehashing Bosnia with Hilary was just as dumb as rehashing Wright with Obama.

I agree, both of these 'issues' have been played to death by our current climate of 'gotcha' politics. I don't need to hear about her trip to Bosnia ten years ago again anymore than I need to hear about Wright again, or that damn flag pin.

It is about time Obama is not protected and given easy questions.

Goodness people he is running to be our President and should be asked any question about anything under the sun that we need to know the answers to. He is not running for the class president, therefore he needs to be ready because you Obama followers have not seen nothing yet, he will get hammered big time by McCain because he has allot of dirty laundry that needs to be cleaned up.

Oh sure blame it on Fox for asking the right questions, other other networks gave him a free pass.

His free pass days are over. He is having a hard time answering the tough questions and it is only going to get tougher for him and his closet full of dirty laundry. Just wait and see, lots more to come from Obama and it wont be pretty either!

NO WAY TO OBAMA !!

Funny how the die hard liberals once again use double standards. How dare ABC ask questions that people that aren't blinded by Obama and his halo want asked. The last time I checked we want to know how candidates think. Part of that includes why they would associate with bad or hateful folks. We are talking about a pattern here. You've got Wright, Ayers, the Bittergate and Mrs. Obama's comments. It doesn't take a rocket sciencist to see something is rotten in Demark. Had Obama answered the questions instead of talked in circles they would've gotten to the other issues sooner. But again, he failed to really denounce these people or adequately explain his comments and he became defensive. I'm glad ABC had the guts to do the right thing.

Well, considering that over 95% of the time all of the "promises" of candidates NEVER happen, I guess looking at the character of the candidates is really all we can look at.

I think the "uproar" was mostly due to the fact that the debate was more of a tabloid-style smear campaign than a real debate on the issues. It was also quite skewed. Accusations toward Obama included Reverend Wright, the "bitter" comment, a lapel pin and serving on a committee with a 1960s radical. Clinton fielded a passing question on Bosnia from her buddy George Stephanopoulos. That was it.

But in this age of tabloid politics, it's not surprising that plenty of people were more than happy with this debate.

crittersitter - So are you and your ilk just going to repeat that over and over and hope somebody somewhere is stupid enough to believe it. EVERY press outlet that is criticizing the debate is criticizing the inanity of the questions posed to both Hillary and Obama, not the toughness of the questions.
