as a mexican american, i find that commercial to be very patronizing. sure, sing a few notes of a song in spanish and mexicans will eagerly give their votes to that candidate. recently, ted kennedy went to laredo and sang "jalisco" in a drunken off key voice to pander for the votes. do these ppl thing that voters are so shallow to vote based on which one is singing or speaking in spanish?
