Why are the subtitles in spanish? They're speaking Spanish, shouldn't the subtitles be in English? Just a thought.

as a mexican american, i find that commercial to be very patronizing. sure, sing a few notes of a song in spanish and mexicans will eagerly give their votes to that candidate. recently, ted kennedy went to laredo and sang "jalisco" in a drunken off key voice to pander for the votes. do these ppl thing that voters are so shallow to vote based on which one is singing or speaking in spanish?

Because the words are important and it's a song - being sung, not spoken - which can be hard to understand sometimes.

It's done a lot in English music videos when the artist wants the words emphasized as the message, or when the words may be hard to understand when being sung.

Definitely some racial disharmony between Latinos and Afro communities contributed to Hillary Clinton's win in California. Also, the Democrat machine backed Clinton.
