Republicans have hammered Michelle Obama for her remarks in February that she was proud of America "for the first time in my adult life." Tonight, however, Dan Abrams showed footage he uncovered of a Fox News interview with John McCain on March 13, 2008, in which McCain said, "I didn't really love America until I was deprived of her company."

Great Find. Most people that make issue with what Michele said are racists. I imagine that no one will make issue with what McCain has said.

The man almost lost his life for this country.

How dare you call a veteran, or even question the patriotism, of a veteran.

Why dont you get off your computer and go over to Iraq and ask the soldiers if they are patriotic why dont you? You should question their patriotism.

I cant believe you would stoop so low. This man almost died for this country. I doubt you have.

I don't think anyone is questioning the patriotism of a veteran or a soldier in Iraq.
The issue is how stupid such questions are.
I wonder if people will now back off Michelle?

Michelle is a different story. She thinks she is owed something by this country. She acts helpless and thinks the world is at debt to her. McCain thinks he owes his country for being so great to him. There is the difference.

She never served in the military. She is not off limits in questioning her patriotism. Im sorry, but when someone serves in the military, you are pretty much off limits for questioning that persons patriotism.

I didn't. It takes a really small person to question the patriotism of a veteran.

Its like asking someone in Darfur if they've suffered enough.

There are things you shouldnt do.

Yea, classy ... man is hanging by his wrists and says something and you grasp at straws trying justify Michelle Obama's stupid remark ... nice. What has Michelle Obama EVER been deprived of that would make her not REALLY be proud of her country until her husband runs for President ... please enlighten us.
