If income redistribution is such a good idea then shouldn't Obama be giving some of his campaign contributions to McCain? It's just not fair that Obama should have so much more money.

What? You want to use liberal tactics against a liberal? How dare you.. did you not read the memo that liberal tactics are used to rob from the conservatives? We all know conservatives save their money, we cannot let them save... I mean hoard wealth... Why be responsible when you can get someone else to pay for you... another liberal motto!

I think we all agree that some of Obama's campaign contributions will be given to Hillary Clinton.

This is a non-issue for Obama since he is loaded w/ cash. Many wish he would have chosen to follow public money procedures but can live with this mistake considering how important it is that he become president.

i doubt that will happen in the real world no?
i hear detractors but i just keep watchin and obama so far has not made any mistakes.
very consistent. read his info pamplets excellent presentation not huge amounts of details (not much at all) mark of a polished politician.
last guy that could play it this well was bill clinton.
mccain is out of his league on this one not entirely his fault he has got to defend the spendthrift republicans admin not an easy job. it would appear the democrats have turned the tables, it is now mccain that has to overcome obama to win.

That comment sums up the theory of life for many - nothing of substance matters but only how one plays "the game". Pretty sad commentary but unfortunately true for most of the electorate.

He doesn't have more money, all told. I assume Michelle will now be demanding McCain give up some of his pie so she can have more.

It's projected the Obama will be able to raise a lot of money. I guess the chances of him giving some to McCain in the name of income redistribution are about the same as they were for Clinton spotting Obama some delegates in the name of affirmative action.

I do think if Obama pays off Clinton's debt that the money should be taxed.

The McCain's are wealthy if they want to lend the campaign money they can just like Hillary did. Obama is to busy saving for his children's college fund.

All this talk about poor McCain. He could have done the same thing. He just doesn't know how to use a computer. Old vs New Politics.
