That's what they are saying on the Dan Abrams show. It was also said that Obama received a standing ovation from Clinton fundraisers when he made the announcement. Looks like party unity is here to stay.

Clinton camp looking for Obama money - Mike Allen - Politico.com

I wouldn't cheer just yet. She may be on board but her donors and Bill are another story.

She's on board, obviously some kind of deal has been struck. I would suspect Hillary's end involves her and possibly Bill campaigning enthusiastically for Obama. Democratic party unity..the Republicans worse nightmare.

After tonight, Hillary, Bill and their fundraisers are now united behind Obama.

Quote:
Obama received a standing ovation from the crowd of more than 200 when he said he would enlist his supporters to help pay off her debt.
Quote:
Clinton told her donors they must make electing Obama a priority, as she acknowledged the hard feelings that remain on both sides.

"This was a hard-fought campaign," she said. "That's what made it so exciting and intense and why people's passions ran so high on both sides. I know my supporters have extremely strong feelings, and I know Barack's do as well. But we are a family, and we have an opportunity now to really demonstrate clearly we do know what's at stake, and we will do whatever it takes to win back this White House."

It's a compromise, a deal, this is politics.

And that deal might end in her being Vice President. We should find out soon since the convention is coming up.

Looks like the right man got the nomination if Hillary's attempts to fund her campaign is anything to go by.

More evidence that Obama will have Clinton as VP. Obama doesnt want Clinton on the ballot with a debt being assigned to her candidacy, but if he helps her pay it off before nominating her, they get to milk the free press, and when he nominates her for VP he can do it without any debt being attached.
