The new poll is up, and will close in two days, just before midnight on July 6th with the results and new poll posted on July 7th.

The polling cycle from July 5th and 6th showed Obama (D) in the lead capturing 44% of the vote compared to McCain's (R) 41% of the vote. Obama's lead decreased slightly to just 3%, but he still holds the lead. Bob Barr (L) has polled consistently with 10% of the vote this week, up 1% from the last polling results. Nader captured 1.5% of the votes, and other captured 1.5%. Only 1.5% of the voters said they were not going to vote.

Only 63 votes were cast in the previous poll, probably due to the holiday.

McCain has not lead in our poll since the poll from 6/20-6/25, but has steadily gained ground in each poll since then.

Will American Idol be on that night? That will keep half the Democrats from the poll.

Sadly, I am not joking.
