how about we raise taxes on everyone like 90% then this way we can all get screwed, revolt and get rid of this class envy bs.

Never happen. The Republicans know the rich are the ones that keep the economy strong. Raise their taxes and more jobs go overseas and/or prices rise to the average consumer. This is something Democrats need to learn.

Do you really think the progressive tax system is borne out of envy? Tell me you're not that gullible.

Look up my comments on the value of a really progressive income tax and my views on countervailing import tariffs. They would go together to return our country to a prosperous middle class industrialized nation.
