Every talk he gives looks like it is in front of the local American Legion and their family and friends. Very dynamic presentations with succinct information from the candidate. Let me think first before every speech now it seems like he has to give his talking points as decided by his advisors that day. Can't he remember them for later? Is this what the right wants the world to view us by? Is this meant to not upstage Bush the gifted speaker. Oh well Europe loves McCain and they are our allies and partners in the war on terror and they seem very willing to follow his lead. That being said he will probably win and provide us with a united front to confront terrorisim and engage us in any number of victorious military conflicts. He is the war candidate and Europe is itching to join us in military action.
Aren't they?

The Legion is the only place where he can get an audience these days.

The American Legion is the only place, outside of a nursing home, where he can get an audience where many of them actually look older that he does.

I am no fan of McCain, but at least his gatherings are not filled with
dumb asses falling at his feet and screeming like it is a rock show, like he cares about them.
Good grief, he wants their votes and that is it.

That's because the majority of the people in a McCain audience are in wheelchairs. McCain repeatedly wins only one age group in polling...older Americans.

Now which is more symbolic of the future and which of the past? Strollers or wheel chairs?
